Take a dictionary or encyclopaedia select three items at random, by closing your eyes opening the book and placing your finger anywhere on the page, read the subjects that you have chosen, create a story from the objects, illustrate the story. Surrealism is all about your unconscious not anyone else's – as such it is almost impossible to study with critical intent.
