Is This Recipe Good For A Diet? Is It Healthy Enough?

Hi There, First of all (and clearly I dont know you) congratulations on your choice to eat healthy!! I am uming since you posted this that you are serious about losing weight and that you want an honest answer. This recipe does sound delish but I would say if you're super serious about losing weight (more than just a few pounds) I would omit the pasta and the salad dressing. Loads of veggies and lean protein (such as skinless chicken , salmon, shrimp and other kinds of fish) are absolutely the way to go. Pre-packaged dressings sometimes contain loads of carbs and sugars (also carbs) which make people hungry and more gain weight. Everything has carbs so its best to chose those things that have fewer carbs so you are totally right to have picked whole wheat pasta versus regular. But I promise you that the best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and not just diet. Loads of veggies, salads, whole grains and lean proteins. Also, omit soda (even diet) and go for home-brewed tea (use your favorite sugar substitute) or homemade lemonade if you're bored with water. Best of luck on your new healthy you!!
