I've had a testicle removed 2 and a half years ago. I want to join the army but I cant even go to meps. help?

2 years ago i was diagnosed with testicular cancer. in january i decided to try and join the army. I've had to lose some weight. and so far i've lost 80 pounds to put me at the tape limit. my recruiter who i have been dealing with since january promised me i'd get in. well last month i was supposed to go to meps and now all of a sudden he won't even send me because i had a testicle removed. I am normal as anyone else. I just want to serve my country is there anything i can do. HELP!
