Does this indicate a link between climate change and earthquakes might be possible?

According to your first link above, the correlation between cyclone activity and seismic is inverted. As cyclone activity increases then seismic activity decreases. I would not call that a negative side effect of climate change. If global warming theory is correct and cyclone activity increases, then we will see less earthquakes.
